Young People’s Theatre Newcastle Inc uses your personal information to:
1. Enable you to purchase tickets and merchandise, including, where applicable, to process your credit card payment transactions,
2. Send you gift vouchers that have been purchased for you by others,
3. Inform you if events change, or regarding exchanges, where those are permitted,
4. Gain an understanding of your interests and to enable us to research and develop our business to better accommodate those interests.
5. We may contact you in relation to fundraising for YPT – YPT is a registered charity and donations over $2 are tax deductible.
6. Under COVID Safe business regulations, we will retain booking details and contact information not otherwise stored in the booking system for a period of 28 days after the performance.
In addition, we may disclose your personal information as permitted or required by law.
Personal data collection and transaction security
We use an external ticketing service to process bookings. This collects contact information on our behalf, for the purposes of managing your booking. Transactions are processed through TicketSearch’s secure checkout. Their privacy policy, including information on transaction security, can be found here.
